Help Build St. Henry Catholic Church in Buckeye, AZ
Dear Friends:

St. Henry Catholic Church in Buckeye, Arizona has gone through several stages in its long history: from an adobe mission in 1906 to a red brick church in 1947 and finally our present physical structure built in 1981. Each change was brought about by the need to expand for a growing Catholic community.

We have again reached a crossroads where a new and larger campus is imperative. St. Henry’s current building is too small for our size. We have been holding two Sunday Masses for nearly six years at a local elementary school gymnasium. We have obtained property in another location that is central to the current population. And now it is time to build anew.

Our community is not wealthy and so the challenge of building from the ground up is an awesome task. Therefore, we are seeking assistance from friends and family beyond our parish boundaries.

I have asked our parishioners to contact family and friends humbly requesting prayerful and financial help, a one-time donation toward the first wing of a multi-purpose complex which will be used for worship and other parish activities. Offices, classrooms, and the church proper will follow. I am asking if you would please help us by considering a donation to our project, large or small.

Donations in any amount are tax deductible and will be greatly appreciated. You will receive a thank-you letter for tax purposes and the names of all our benefactors will be acknowledged by a public reading of your name at our Masses. You will also be listed in a record of donors to be placed in our new campus location.

Checks should be payable to “St. Henry Catholic Church” 128 S. 3rd St. Buckeye, AZ. 85326. Please write “Friends & Family” in the memo section. Thank you for your time and consideration of this project.

Together in Christ,

Fr. William Kosco
